Night shift, 4 on/4 off, 5pm to 4am Responsibilities:Be a visual presence on site to ensure the health, comfort and safety of our CustomersProvide excellent customer service, by opening doors, assisting with bags etSite visits, patrol on foot exterior and interior property. Inspect all walkways, stairs, water drainage on side of building, building numbers, vacant ground level apartments, trees, tool shed, gravel boxes, benches, office/maintenance shop, garbage bins, fire hydrants, lights, recreational areas, entrances and exits.Ensure all signs are clearly visible and do not need any repairs.Inspect parking areas, Look for damaged or abandoned vehicles, license plates with expired plates, or missing plates, visitor parking, pot holesReplace burnt out lights as needed.Pick up garbageSnow removal as requiredTouch-up painting as requiredPhone check in with Customer ServiceEnsure Image Wear is clean, neat and recognizable to customersComplete all reports and sent them to the Leader dailyEnsure all correspondence with Customers is noted in Tenant Memo fieldRespond to lock out, noise complaints, On Call Maintenance assistanceComplete other tasks assigned by the LeaderMust have valid Drivers license and vehicle.Experience and Educational Requirements:2 years Customer Service and or Security Experience preferredSecurity License requiredTechnical Requirements:Computer experience is required with web based programs preferredAbility to learn and adapt quickly to changing systems and new technologyFamiliarity with computer tablets is an assetNon-Technical Requirements:Strong commitment to providing excellent customer serviceDedicated to building better communities for all our Customers and surrounding communitiesAbility to take responsibility for all actions and decisions and to follow through until a resolution is obtainedExcellent listening and telephone etiquette skillsExceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilitiesStrong planning and organizational skills coupled with ability to multi-task and prioritizeExcellent time-management skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential mattersAbility to remain calm and in control of a situation while still maintaining patience, empathy and understandingAbility to work independently (self managed) and with other Associates in a team environmentAbility to learn quickly, adapt to change and be flexible in natureDisplays a high level of initiative and commitment to success (striving toward Boardwalk?s mission statement)Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertivenessAbility to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, liftingAbility to maneuver or lift up to 10kg with the proper equipmentInterested applicants are invited to submit a cover letter and resume.We would like to thank you in advance for your application, however, only those candidates who are being considered will be contacted.
